James Rockford :Grand Prix 1966

If you haven’t seen Grand Prix , go rent or buy it !

As a student of motorsports its a movie, that in my eyes ,captured what it must have been like to be a F1 factory works driver during the 1960’s .

The 1960’s epitomized great fashion, great cars and just overall coolness.

James Garner drives for a fictional Japanese team which in reality would”ve been Honda .

1962 saw the Japanese manufacturers first podium win at the Mexican GP with their RA-272 car driven by Ritchie Ginther.

The movie gets better every time I see it.
